A dramatically changed 2nd team started well against a younger Bristol Uni side. Goals from first time MVP Mark Pow (free-pass), Chris Phillips, and Ellie Kowalski lead the team to a 3-1 half time lead.

The second half started even better with Taunton scoring 5 of the next 6 goals (Jess Ellis x 2, Stuart Allcock, Adam Pitman and Sarah Khan). Mark Pow added a second goal late on to secure a convincing 9-3 win. Only late injuries to MVP Maria Lamb and Hannah Hill put a slight downer on the result.

After conceding an early goal the first team started to get into their rhythm and opened up an early 5-1 lead (goals from Dave Hill x 2, Gabriel Carrillo, Ellie Kowalski and Hilary Manning) before being pegged back to 6-3 at half time.

Bristol Uni's come back continued in the second half until Taunton started to score again at 8-6. More goals from Dave Hill, Hilary Manning and Ellie Kowalski were added to by Matt Fillary, Mark Francis and Angela Hill to finish with a winning score of 18-9.

Dave Hill and captain Ellie Kowalski won the MVP honours.
